Fast growing ‘marketplace’ tech start-up is looking to hire a National Sales Manager to manage their fast-growing national sales team.

The role requires the business qualities of a sales team leader. Someone with a successful track record of managing high performing teams of BDMs and Snr. BDMs.
 
It is your classic roll your sleeves up and get stuck in role, which needs someone with masses of energy, drive and time but very importantly we need someone who can execute well! The role is targeted towards middle management stars who have either successfully built and grown a sales machine from the ground up, and/or stepped into a role where you have inherited a team which you have successfully build upon.
 
Responsibilities
 
  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within an assigned territory.
  • Develop and ensure the execution of national sales strategies for all company products, achieve sales, profit and market share objectives for all national and regional accounts.
  • Execute and drive end-to-end sales cycles.
  • Set, communicate and manage performance expectations, ensuring the achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual targets for sales function.
  • Recruit, hire, train and manage a strong team of sales personnel to capture market share.
  • Lead and motivate a high performing sales team to consistently achieve and exceed targets.
  • Establish a sales training plan for new sales team members.
  • Identify and maximise revenue generation opportunities within the sales function
  • Ensure the sales force has the tools and resources they need to be successful.
  • Motivate, drive, coach and empower the team with the skills to provide first class service to all prospective and existing users of their platform.
