The Company
A Kiwi SaaS success story, this business is expanding into Australia. Employing 35 people in Auckland and 9 people here in Sydney, this funded and profitable software company provides a platform that makes life way better for tradespeople- sparkies and plumbers- in particular. They have great NPS scores and a load of glowing reviews, both from customers and their employees.
The Role
Here's how it works. The marketing team does a great job and gets tradies to sign up for a free trial. Once someone commences their trial, it's your job to call them. The sales cycle is straightforward- call/discovery call, demo (99% done online) then close. The current team closes about 5 out of every 8 demos they do... Incidentally, you should do about 8 demos a week. To get these sorts of numbers you'll need to call out to 30-40 trialists every day.
That's the gig! No cold calling, no hunting required. You will need to be organised, motivated to pick up the phone, emotionally intelligent and up for speaking with tradies all day! You will also need to have a great attitude- because everyone else in the company does and you'll stick out like a sore thumb if you don't!

Base salary for this role is up to $75k + super + commissions. The OTE is about $100k and you should hit this number- because everyone else in the team does.
About You
  • 2 + years experienced selling with SME clients over the phone and ideally have used web based screen sharing software
  • Intelligent, articulate and logical
  • Good understanding of the trades industry is a huge plus
  • Upbeat and enthusiastic approach
  • Experience selling a SaaS product is desirable but not mandatory
  • Must be a Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen
