Today, these 2 (former!) grads have worked for over 12 months as Energy Specialists before receiving promotions into other areas of the business.
In January 2020, Pauline asked me to help find her next Energy Specialists.
Today, Pauline has asked me to do the exact same thing.
Nectr Energy is a high growth Energy Retailing business, with a focus on offering smarter energy products and plans that focus on the environment. Nectr’s parent company, Hanwha Energy, are heavily invested in 2 solar farms in Queensland and Victoria and are building a further 2 solar farms in New South Wales.
They have already won many customers here in Australia- and are looking to win many thousands more.
Winning customers is a good first step, but Nectr knows they need to keep their customers happy. This is where the Energy Specialist comes in.
This role is ideal for someone who loves being on the phone and dealing with people. You’ll receive inbound calls from existing customers- and it will be your role to ensure every single person who calls in is treated with exceptional customer service, has their problem or query resolved and gets off the phone feeling good about their experience with Nectr. The role will be 80% phone based, 20% email or webchat based.
You’ll gain exceptional experience working within a high growth company which is firmly in the building phase- and exposure to what makes a business grow quickly! You’ll also get a strong understanding of the how the Australian energy industry works.
Given the expansion of the company there are also significant opportunities for development outside of your core job.
You may have recently finished university and be looking to break into your first corporate position.
You may have solid experience in hospitality or retail that you’d like to trade in for something more long term.
You may have existing phone based customer service experience too.
You definitely love speaking with people, and have been told in the past that you bring a positive attitude to work every day.
You have full working rights within Australia.
This is a full time, permanent position, with a competitive salary package, based in North Sydney. There is a regular WFH policy (about 50% in office, 50% WFH), with bike lockers and showers on site.
