Let me tell you about the business...

They are a growing global Martech provider that creates smart and simple marketing technology products for their eCommerce clients. They have been around since 2013, have raised $15M+ through Seed, Series A and Series B funding rounds and their technology is instrumental in helping eCommerce businesses predict customer behaviour so they can optimise customer experience and provide hyper—personalisation experiences to the likes of you and I.

They have 3 regions (NA, EMEA and APAC) that are all equally important to the company. APAC currently represents 1/3 of the company revenue. Their aim is to dominate the AU and NZ markets and further scale into the Southeast Asian markets. Their renewal rate was 92% last year, which means they have a very strong offering. Retention is expected to improve given their continuing new products and platform advancements and they currently boast a very impressive APAC client list: Adidas, Qantas, Bing Lee, David Jones, L'Oréal, Bondi Sands, The North Face, Clarins, The Good Guys, Asics, New Balance, Crocs... and many smaller and more medium sized eCommerce brands.

Their Australia office is growing. 2022 is a big growth year. Could you be their next hire?

What are they looking for...

Right now, with big growth happening in the eCommerce market they need two motivated and high performing Account Executives to grow their book of business and expand their market share in APAC. They envisage a business where their sales team will be able to physically cover the entire Asia region with market expertise (not just limited to AU or NZ) so they are looking for hungry new business developers with enthusiastic and tenacious personalities and with demonstrated track records of sales success.

Who may be a good fit?

This role will suit individual contributor salespeople who have been selling Tech and Services (but not million-dollar deals) to key stakeholders in the SMB and/or mid-market space.  Salespeople with media, marketing or software backgrounds who are consultative, solution-based sellers interested in selling into eCommerce businesses of all sizes. You have hit or overachieved your high six figure sales targets for a minimum of 2+ years and you love the excitement and opportunity to be part of a start-up culture.  

Why should you join them?

They will offer between $90,000.00 up to $120,000.00 plus Super with the opportunity to earn $100,000.00, uncapped 1st year Comms. This is a Sydney based hybrid working role so you will have the flexibility to work from home in a mature environment and be supported in every area of the job and business to ensure you have everything you require to be successful.  

  • To date new business has grown +30% vs 2020.
  • Strong commission rate/percentage that pays on every sale. Commission rate also escalates based on performance relative to target and over achievement.
  • Commissions are uncapped.
  • Commissions are paid monthly.
  • Yearly target will be approximately $600k USD.
  • Average annual contract value $35k USD.
  • 100% achievement of target is approx. $100k AUD in commissions.
  • They have a few competitors but are better and differentiated from them.
